The Rosary

The rosary, a "contemplative and Christocentric prayer, inseparable from the meditation of sacred Scripture," is "the prayer of the Christian who advances in the pilgrimage of faith, in the following of Jesus, preceded by Mary."

In imitation of Christ we entrust ourselves into the hands of Mary in order to take full advantage of the maternal role the Father has given her in our lives.  Through the Rosary, Mary cooperates with the Holy Spirirt to educate and form her children in the image of Jesus.  Through her intercession Mary disposes her children to know and to receive the grace to do her Son's will.
